Teehee. We’re in the paper :P
In the Capital Day section of the Dominion Post, to be more specific. And we’re pretty chuffed, we gotta say, with the piece. It brings across nicely the fact that we may, eventually, end up killing each other. Or simply bickering hilariously (for people watching, not for us) much of the way through.
Worth it :)
An excerpt:
Beginning in mid-July, and stretching across a third of the Earth’s surface, the Mongol Rally will be a true test of their stamina and mateship. From Goodwood Circuit in Britain to the Mongolian capital Ulan Bator, the rally is not so much a race as an endurance test, with some of the 200 or so teams completing the journey in weeks, others in months, depending on luck and the type of vehicle they use.
All of the cars in the race are “generally considered crap” the pair say, and none are more powerful than 1.2 litre engines.
Huzzah!
